Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Random Animal Generator, the service at randomanimalgen.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Random Animal Generator lets you combine parts of real animals into imaginary hybrid creatures, generate names, trait chips, and AI art prompts, and optionally render an AI image of your creature. It also lets you explore real animals with photos, facts, and recorded sounds.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are a minor under that age, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable use

The Service is provided for creative, educational, and lawful good-faith uses. You agree that you will not use the Service or anything made with it to:

• create or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful in your jurisdiction;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• impersonate a real person or organization or spread misinformation; or
• violate the terms, policies, or rights of any third-party platform on which you publish output.

4. Prohibited content

You may not use Random Animal Generator to create, upload, submit, generate, or share any content that is NSFW, adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive. This includes prompts and any AI-generated images. We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts if we determine this policy has been violated.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the creatures, names, and prompts you input. You are responsible for the AI images you generate and for how and where you use them. You represent that your use does not violate the rights of others.

6. Accounts, plans and payments

Some features require a Google sign-in. Paid plans and credit packs may be offered in the future; when they are, prices, inclusions, and any usage limits will be shown at the point of purchase, and payments will be processed by third-party providers whose terms also apply. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, fees are non-refundable once the corresponding credits or features have been used.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for sign-in, AI image generation, analytics, advertising, and (in future) payments. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. When you render an AI image, the prompt you provide is sent to an AI provider to generate the result.

8. Media & attribution

Real-animal photographs and sounds shown in the Service are openly licensed (CC0 / CC BY / CC BY-SA / public domain) and attributed on our Credits page. Please honor the underlying licenses when you reuse that media.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Random Animal Generator and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Random Animal Generator and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising out of content you create or publish using the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you other rights. We may update these Terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stay in effect.
